Installing Size 4/0 Micro-Snaps
Snap fasteners replace zippers on most doll garments. Sized 4/0 (≈4 mm) sit flat, hold tight, and never jam.

Mark snap centres on both overlaps
Use a pin push through both layers to mark identical spots. Space snaps every 12 mm on bodices.

Tack each snap with glue
A pinpoint of glue holds the snap while you stitch. Press flat with the back of an awl.

Stitch all four holes
3 stitches per hole, knotted on the inside. Catch only the lining — stitches must not telegraph to the face.

Test alignment before knotting off
Close the snaps. Misalignment > 0.5 mm means re-mark — undo and reposition before the glue cures.
