Installing a Doll-Scale Zipper
Centred-application zipper insertion for doll-scale (3 mm / size 0) coil zippers.

Follow the written steps below in the meantime.

Stitch the centre back seam from hem to zip stop
Backstitch securely at the zip stop. Press seam open.

Position the zipper face down on the open seam
Coil centred on the seam line. Tack with wash-away tape — pins distort at this scale.

Stitch 1 mm from coil, both sides
Use a zipper foot or a hump-jaw clamp. Pivot precisely at the zip stop.

Hand-tack the zipper tape ends inside
Three whip stitches at top + bottom of the tape prevent peeling under stress.
